Can I use trazodone and acepromazine for my aggressive dog's flight anxiety?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 2 years and 4 months old | 42 lbs

For flying with my dogs, can I use BOTH trazodone and acepromazine to calm his anxiety and fully sedate him? He is aggressive

Hi there. Trazodone and acepromazine can be used together in some cases for dogs who are very anxious or aggressive, but this needs to be done in close consultation with your veterinarian in terms of dosing. I would recommend discussing this with your regular vet to see if he/she feels that this would be safe for Augie, and to find out what specific doses would be recommended for him.
