My 7-year-old Jack Russell's back end is wobbly and getting worse. What can I do?

My Jack Russell bitch ( 7 years old) is wobbly on her back end. On Prednisilone but not helping. Had an X Ray (lump on her vertebrae) Fatty tissue. Getting worse. What can it be and what can I do. Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Female | unspayed | 13 lbs

She may need additional medications or different doses to help get her more comfortable. Occasionally dogs with back pain do not respond to medical therapy and need surgery by a neurologist.
