Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 6 months and 3 days old | 5 lbs

Hi, I took my two cats into the vet on Friday (22/11/2019) for them to get them sterilized. We got home Hunter(boy) he is doing great so lovable but bekkie doesn't look like herself, so this morning I took her back to the vet they gave her something for her fever and antibiotic they also gave me antibiotic to give her 2 times a day, how long does the medicine take to start working? She is still breathing rapidly and she is still week should I be worried?

It will take a couple days for the antibiotics to start working but they will only help if her underlying problem was a bacterial infection. The fever medication should have worked within an hour or so but it will not keep it down for longer than 24 hours. If she is still not right she should go back to the vet and be put on an IV drip.
