Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 4 years and 2 months old
My cat has a bald spot behind his ear and a little bald spot under his chin. The skin does not look irritated or like a rash. It is just a bald spot. He is 4 years old and sheds like a normal cat. He usually sheds less than his sister. He often has bloody stools but the last vet I took him to for the bloody stools told me that he was okay and I guess sometimes cats just have bloody stools. I am concerned. What should I do?

I think you should get a second opinion from another vet. There are many causes of hair loss from the ears. They include fungal infections, fur mite or flea infestation, allergies from food and/or the environment, hormonal imbalances, environmental conditions, autoimmune disease, dietary deficiencies, behavioral issues, etc.

It could be Jumi just injured himself leading the bald spot, but it doesn't appear red, swollen, or any other signs of infection. Just keep an eye on it for now, and if it gets bigger, the fur doesn't grow back, it starts to appear infected, and/or it starts to bother him, I would have him checked out by a vet. Best of luck, I hope this helps!
