Can adult dogs eat wet food, or should I mix it with kibble?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Long Coat) | Female | spayed | 1 year and 1 month old | 4 lbs

My mom bought my dog new dog food. They’re not dry food but wet food and they’re very healthy for the dog. However, does adult dogs must only eat dry food? Or change my dog’s diet with wet food (mixed with kibbles)?

Cesars and Beneful are more medium grade diets. Dogs love the taste but it's not necessarily the highest quality proteins and there's lot of fillers. The Royal Canin is a very high quality and the food I recommend to mainly feed Azumi. I recommend to feed mainly dry food but you can add in some canned food for a treat or even in every meal if you like. I hope this helps and please feel free to post any additional questions.
