Pet's info: Cat | European Shorthair | Female | spayed | 3 months and 6 days old | 2.75 lbs
Hi, have 2x 3 month old kittens – had worms (mother is an outside cat). One has constant diarrhoea, just keeps oozing out. Vet last week gave worming tablets and Pro-Kolin they've had probiotics dose, but although it's eased slightly, still very evident in one. Bacterial infection? Wondering without going to the next step of £80 for a stool sample, is there a general antibiotic which I can buy off the shelf? Thanks.

No there is not. You will want to have the fecal done to confirm the infection, so that your vet can prescribe an antibiotic as needed, or other treatment options if an infection isn't the cause. Just giving a general antibiotic may not target what is wrong, or may not be the right antibiotic for the specific type of infection.
