Why did my cat's side briefly give out, then he ate and recovered?

Question

My cats right side gave out temporarily but when I put a cup of food in front of him he ate it and it went away immediately. While he was eating his tail straightened out and now he is fine. This happened once before the same way. Why does this happen? He is fine otherwise. Thank you for reading this and I look forward to your response. Hello. It is very difficult to determine if Junior just had a spasm or a very mild seizure. Since it went away immediately, I would just take a watch & wait position & see if anything happens again, or begins to happen in clusters. Then, have your veterinarian take a look at Junior to see if any additional treatment might be necessary. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
