My dog is licking his leg after playing and jumping. Is it a wound?

My dog where playing last night and then I saw my dog jump and was licking his legs 1st picture was from yesterday second pic is last night 3rd pic is this morning

Ouch! Looks like a wound from either hitting something, or too rough of play. If the third picture is the newest, it looks like it may be healing and scabbing over. I would keep an Elizabethan (cone) collar on Mickey to keep him from licking at the wound, and keep it clean and dry. If it begins to ooze, opens up again, or doesn't heal, having a vet take a look in person is best.
