My moms dog has a rash on his belly. Can she use aloe vera gel?

It isn't recommended since the dog would likely lick it off as soon as it was applied. It isn't toxic, but it could cause stomach upset. Ideally, the dog should be physically examined by a veterinarian to diagnose and treat the underlying cause. Place an e-collar (cone) on the dog to prevent licking until he sees the doctor.

The gel from an aloe plant is ok to use topically. The white sap. or latex, from a broken leaf is toxic and may cause gastrointestinal upset. It is always prudent to check with your veterinarian before applying anything on your pet. If you choose to use the gel, make sure Tuffy cannot lick the area.

I have a mini schnauzer, he has a rash (since las night) his belly is all red. He has no hair loss, only casp, he eats only dog food, he is in a clean place. What can I give him? Can I use aloe vera gel (directly form the plant) ?
Charlie's belly looks very sore and inflamed. It can be from a topical reaction if he rubbed against something new or an environmental allergen. I would not use topical aloe as it can upset their stomach if they ingest any. Give him a cold bathe and you can apply some topical cortisone cream. If he is scratching it or licking it a lot or it is not better by morning, I would take him to your vet

I would shy away from the use of Aloe Vera in dogs, particularly those which are small breeds. If ingested, it can cause severe diarrhea resulting in dehydration and the clinical signs associated with that.

A rash is often a sign of an allergy, mites or bacterial infection. I do not recommend to use your medication as it is not meant to be ingested and may have toxicity issues if consumed in large enough quantities. The fastest and surest method to get the rash cleared is to figure out the underlying cause and a trip to the veterinarian is needed for that. You can try starting him on an omega 3 fatty acid for dogs, changing the diet to Nutro or Royal Canin as these diets are aimed at skin health, and washing the areas daily with soap (rinse well). However, if it is an allergy or mites, the problem will continue until the allergen is removed. I hope this is helpful and please feel free to post any additional questions.

My dog daisy has started to get a rash around her belly area
It looks like she has a skin infection/dermatitis which could be secondary to allergies. She should be examined by a vet to determine the cause and treat. She may need an antibiotic, anti-histamine, corticosteroid, and/or other medications to help treat. You could also bathe her in a medicated shampoo, like Douxo Chlorhexidine shampoo, and see if that helps.

My dog seem like she is getting a rash by her stomach and vaginal area
This is probably due to a severe allergy, although it could also be fleas or mites. First of all, in order to rule out skin parasites, you will need to treat her with a high quality flea treatment (e.g. advocate or advantage), then get her to the vet to perform a skin scrape - this might revile an infection or a mite infestation. If all of those came back negative, the next step is to treat the allergy symptomatically and try discovering the cause of the allergy. Some medications can be given by the vet in order to repair the skin lesions (steroids and antibiotics). simultaneously you should start her on a prescription hypoallergenic diet for at least 2 months. Hopefully you will see some results after all this, if not you and your vet should consider putting her on a long term allergy treatment (Atopica or Apoquel).

My mixed breed Dalmatian has this ugly sort of rash on her stomach and vaginal and anal area it's pink in colour... So I'm guessing it's a fungal infection or bacterial I don't know... Does anyone know what to do or what to give her...??
Place an e-collar (cone) on Snowball to prevent licking which can delay healing or introduce bacteria. Have her examined by your veterinarian to diagnose the cause of the rash. Antibiotics can be used for bacterial infection, antifungals for a yeast infection. Topical and systemic treatment may be necessary. Do not give any medications to Snowball without the advice of a veterinarian. Legally, we are prohibited from recommending medications in the absence of a physical exam and a patient-veterinarian-client relationship.

Neno has broke out in a rash all over his stomach area. What could have caused this and what can I do?
This is probably an allergic reaction due to an insect bite or a plant outside. those reactions tend to resolve within 48 hours without treatment. if the swelling becomes too large or if Neno is lethargic, take her to the vet in order to get an antihistamine injection.

Is it okay to put betagen spray on my dog’s rash on his belly?
Yes, this is fine. It may temporarily help Indy Oliver with the itchiness from the rash, but it's not a long term solution. I'd recommend having him seen by his vet in the morning to have the rash treated. I hope this helps!
