My dog's UTI isn't improving on antibiotics. What should I do?

My dog was diagnosed with a UTI a week ago. She has been on antibiotics for 7 days and is still miserable with no improvement. She still has one more week of antibiotics left, but how long before she will start being more comfortable? She squats about 10-15 times in just a few short minutes every time she is outside. And she is having to go out A LOt. Has to go out in the middle of the night too. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 10 years and 2 months old | 49 lbs

It is generally expected that the antibiotics will kick in and the clinical signs should subside by day 5. I would be concerned there is antibiotic resistance, a bladder stone or bladder cancer causing the continued symptoms but it could also just be a slow response.
