Is it normal for my dog to poop once a day on Royal Canin GI diet?

Romeo has been on GI Wet Food Low Fat by Royal Canine. Since being on this food, hes only pooping once a day. He normally poops twice a day prior. He is fine otherwise. Is this normal? Thank you. Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 11 years and 3 months old | 12 lbs
