My puppy was spayed five days ago. The incision is about a inch long. A tiny hole is visible with no blood. I believe a scab was there. Pet's info: Dog | Australian Kelpie | Male | neutered | 5 months and 25 days old | 29 lbs

The skin seems healing normally, the small gap is not concerning at this stage. the redness is due to mild inflammation. there are no indications of delayed or abnormal healing or infection. Please rest her as much as possible for the next 4-5 days and discourage any licking.
