Thank you for providing a picture of Floki's bumps, it's really helpful for my answer to your question. This is likely a condition called puppy pyoderma. Pyoderma is usually caused by Staphylococcus bacteria (or Staph for short). Typically, this condition will resolve on its own . If there is no improvement in the rash in the next 3-5 days, or if she is itchy or painful or having any other symptoms such as excessive licking, then I would recommend having her examined by a vet as she may need oral antibiotics or other prescription medication to treat the problem. A small e-collar (cone) can be used to prevent licking until she sees the doctor. I hope this helps!

Hi, I just noticed an odd looking bump on my 7 week old husky puppy. Can anyone identify this for me please? Thanks so much.
It is difficult to say for sure with just a picture but it looks like a pustule. This is common in puppies and is called puppy pyoderma. It will usually heal on its in it occasionally they will get more of them and will need oral antibiotics. Watch it closely and make sure it isn't getting bigger and make sure more aren't coming up. Also make sure she is eating, drinking and playing normally.

I have a 5 week old puppy. We just moved to our new apartment several days ago and today i noticed these pimple like bumps around her genital area and stomach.one photo is taken on aug 10 from when she didnt have this. should I be concerned?
Thank you for contacting Boop by Petco with your question about Neela and for providing pictures, they are very helpful. It looks like she may have puppy pyoderma, which is a skin infection. The skin of the puppy is quite sensitive, and it can be common for them to get this skin infection around the genital area and stomach. This does need to be treated by a vet, she needs antibiotics, so I recommend you make an appointment for her to see her vet this week to get it treated. I hope this helps!

My 5 month old puppy has red bumps around her genitalia area. I was wondering whether I should freak out by taking her to the vet, or just picking something up.
Thanks for using Boop by Petco! This looks like a focal infection. You can try to use a medicated shampoo containing chlorhexidine twice weekly for 2 weeks. If there is no improvement or in the meantime this appears to be getting worse, have her evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Good luck and have a good day!

Their red and white bumps all over her body.....not itching,
Hi and thanks for using Boop by Petco! From what I can tell via your photo, this looks a lot like puppy pyoderma-a very common condition among young dogs. Essentially, these are "pimples" for puppies and usually caused by staph bacteria. I will usually try to rule out any underlying flea problem resulting in pustules, etc when I see these patients. If I see nothing else of concern I will usually prescribe antibiotics for 10-14 days at which point the breakout has usually cleared up. I would recommend seeing your vet to do these things as well-Lala will be much more comfortable without pustules. I hope this helps!

Hi there. Those could be little pustules (basically zits) or warts which puppies are prone to getting. In either case they usually resolve on their own, but I would have them checked by your vet if they don't go away in the next month. Hope that helps. Thanks for using Boop by Petco.

Hi there! Puppies get "puppy pyoderma" often which often presents as you have shown in the pictures. This is very common, and easy to treat. Sometimes antibiotics are not required and they go away on their own. If the rash spreads, etc. you can always make an appointment to see your veterinarian to make sure fleas or allergies are not contributing factors! My best to you an Milli. Hope this helps!

My 8 month old shepherd has pink bumps on her belly and private area. She doesn't have fleas and its no where else on her body. What could it be?
Pink bumps on the belly and groin area are most often a sign of a bacterial skin infection called pyoderma - this can occur on its own, or due to an underlying skin condition like allergies, fleas, or skin mites (mange). If the bumps aren't bothering her much and are confined to a fairly small area, you can try using a topical antibiotic spray on the area to see if this helps. If there is no improvement in the next 7-10 days, or if the bumps become itchy or painful or seem to be spreading, it would be best to take her to the vet for an exam, as she may need oral antibiotics or other prescription medication to treat the problem effectively.

Small yellow fluid filled bumps around the pubic region of my puppy . is there a possibility of infection
Most appear dry in the picture which is a sign they are clearing on their own, Puppies can get puppy pyoderma which they can grow out of as they get bigger. If it bothers him and he scratches or licks it a lot, then have him seen. If they start to spread and get bigger, than you will need antibiotics. For that small area, give him a bath to keep the area clean. After he goes to the bathroom, make sure that area stays clean.

Our dog has gotten little white rash looking bumps on his stomach, a little over 2 months old and now it's spread to his sisters
This is called puppy pyoderma. It’s a mild skin infection that puppies often get. You can bathe the area with anti bacterial shampoo every few days and that should clear it up. If it is getting worse or the puppies seem sick then bring them in for a exam and treatment. They may need oral antibiotics. Also make sure the bedding is soft and dry.
