My Boston Terrier has a growing eyelid bump. What could this be?

My Boston Terrier has a bump on his eyelid , this is only the second day seems to have gotten bigger since yesterday. I have a vet appt but can’t see us for 2 more days , what could this be? 2 year old female Boston

Hello thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. My best guess is that this is a histiocytoma (benign tumor of the skin) but it could also be a localized allergic reaction or a cyst. Hard to tell just by looking at one photo. She should be fine to wait the two days to see the vet as long as the eyeball itself looks normal. If the eyeball doesn't look normal you need to get her in to see a different vet as soon as possible. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
