My cat has a painful loose tooth and won't eat. Cost to remove?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Female | spayed | 9 lbs

My cat has a dangle tooth and it hasn’t been bothering her at all up until a couple days ago. She’s been meowing a lot and hasn’t really been eating her food. I got her some soft food and she has been going to town on it. I think I might need to get it removed. It’s her bottom left canine. What would the general cost of getting it removed would be??

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I recommend a vet visit to evaluate her teeth and then the practice can give you an accurate estimate. Prices vary in different geographical locations and also by individual clinic so it’s impossible to know how much it may cost for her. I do recommend doing it asap as that tooth is very painful for her. Good luck.
