My female dog is depressed with vaginal discharge. Is it pyometra?

My female dog has been noticeably depressed and has a loss of appetite. Her vagina has been releasing white pus-like discharge. Is this a sign of pyometra? If so, is it critical I take her to the vet today? All of the clinics are closed until Tuesday due to Labor Day weekend. If it’s not pyometra, what else could it be? Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Female | unspayed | 8 years and 3 months old | 70 lbs

This does sound like it may be a pyometra if she is not spayed. She needs to see a vet ASAP as this is a life threatening infection. Do not wait until Tuesday she should go to an emergency vet tonight.
