My 8-month Boxer has a growing ear spot. Could it be a blood blister?

Hello my Boxer is 8 months he has a spot on his ear looks like maybe a blood blister but we’re not real sure. I haven’t taken him to the vet yet cause I have to save up the money I was wondering if you could give me some advice cause my husbands a little worried about it. We’ve been watching for ricks but this just started out as a little spot and it’s gotten a little bigger. Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Male | unneutered | 8 months and 14 days old

Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I recommend a vet visit when you can. This appears to be a mass or growth of some sort. The vet may recommend doing a needle aspirate to collect some cells to look at under the microscope to determine what it is.
