My dog has red bumps on his chin. Is it dog acne or something else?

Hello, thank you for using PetCoach. This looks like folliculitis/furunculosis (chin acne) - a deep skin infection/inflammation of the hair follicles and skin.     Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! This could be dog acne in which case it would resolve on its own. However, it could also be a benign or malignant growth. If no improvement is observed in the next week or so, have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment. In the meantime make sure that his food and water bowls are clean as when dirty they can use acne. Good luck and have a great night!
