My puppy had a flea on his face today. I got paranoid and started searching everywhere he would let me on his body. I haven’t seen more fleas but he has black spots on his genital area and now I’m concerned. I noticed he had black spots since I picked him up from the breeder but I didn’t think much of it until now. Could they be flea eggs? or are the spots normal for puppies to have?

Poor Milo. These spots do not appear to be flea eggs but they could be debris. Regardless, finding one flea means there are likely more. I would begin him on flea/tick preventatives from your veterinarian right away and be sure to thoroughly wash all his bedding. He should be treated every month to break the flea life cycle.
