Puppy found flea. Are black spots on genitals flea eggs or normal?

My puppy had a flea on his face today. I got paranoid and started searching everywhere he would let me on his body. I haven’t seen more fleas but he has black spots on his genital area and now I’m concerned. I noticed he had black spots since I picked him up from the breeder but I didn’t think much of it until now. Could they be flea eggs? or are the spots normal for puppies to have? Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 20 days old | 15 lbs

Poor Milo. These spots do not appear to be flea eggs but they could be debris. Regardless, finding one flea means there are likely more. I would begin him on flea/tick preventatives from your veterinarian right away and be sure to thoroughly wash all his bedding. He should be treated every month to break the flea life cycle.
