My 12-week-old puppy ate gabapentin. Do I need an emergency vet?

My 12 week old Rottweiler puppy may have ingested a 600 mg gabapentin tablet. He weighs about 21 lbs. Do I need to find an emergency vet?

That is nearly 6 times the dose for his size, I would seek out emergency care from your vet or clinic right away. You can also contact the Pet Poison Helpline - https://www.petpoisonhelpline.com/ - (there is a fee for this service) for more information, however, if he is showing any signs of illness (extreme lethargy, confusion, vomiting, diarrhea, etc) seeking care right away is best.
