My dog's spay tattoo is spreading and looks blurry. Is it normal?

Why is my dogs spayed tattoo spreading out and no longer straight lines?

As dogs age, their skin becomes softer and more pliable which will cause the tattoo to look as if it is spreading. Any tattoo over time they will lose it's crispness as the pigment fades. This is normal.
