My cat meowed loudly, threw up hair. Should I be concerned now?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 7 months and 9 days old | 8 lbs

Hi my earlier my cat Loki started meowing very loud at me (in a way he hasn’t before) then threw up some light brownish orange liquid with hair in it, he has been acting fine since then but i don’t know if i should be concerned or not

Hairballs and vomiting in cats are quite common but the preceeding nausea can cause distress and vocalisation. I would not be immediately concerned when he has otherwise returned to normal. Many diets and supplements are available to reduce the incidence (but may not be 100% effective in full protection although they do help)
