Will shaving my Persian cat ruin his coat??? I usually only shave my 2 boys butts, belly’s, and groin area but once every 1-2 years or so I like to do a full lion cut on my boy Milo. Pet's info: Cat | Himalayan | Male | neutered | 4 years and 10 months old | 12.1 lbs

Hello, no one can tell you this for sure. I wouldn't say the coat would be "ruined" but what happens a lot is that the coat grows in a different color. If you are not showing him and you don't care if the coat color changes then I wouldn't worry about it.
