Why is my galah cockatoo sneezing, tail bobbing, and discharging?

Pet's info: Bird | Cockatoo | Female | 1 year and 2 months old

My cockatoo galah is sneezing, today the sneezing is alot louder she bobbed her tail yesterday a little bit and there is a small amout of discharge on the nares. Where i live the vets aren't the best they don't know what they are doing when it comes to birds and I'm scared to take her to the vet without knowing anything so here is my question what can i do

Thanks for reaching out about Zero, but still a veterinary visit is still recommended, at least to assess to see if antibiotics are recommended. Providing short periods in a steamy warm bathroom can provide some moisture to nostrils, possibly opening up nasal passages. Tail bobbing is concern as this often indicated difficulty with inspiration, whether tracheal, lungs or air sacs. Good luck.
