Why is my 20-year-old parrot less active and itching so much?

I have aparrot from Last 20 years the only problem is he is not active as he used to be he itches a lot. Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Male

Thanks for reaching out about Parrot. Twenty years is not very old, probably considered middle-aged. Diet is a primary component for longer term health, so if eating a primary seed diet, deficiencies are possible. A veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. This should not wait as birds are very good at hiding when they are ill, and by the time they show problems, illness can be advanced. Good luck.
