My cat licked my hyaluronic acid face mask. Is it dangerous for her?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Mediumhair | Female | spayed

Hello, I had just finished applying a hyaluronic acid and chamomile face mask and my cat licked my hand. I don’t think there was much residue, however I’m a helicopter cat mum. Here’s a photo of the ingredients. Thank you!

Turtle will likely be fine if she just licked a small portion of your hand. Signs to watch out for that something is wrong include lethargy, drooling or vomiting, loss of appetite, or changes in behavior. If you notice such symptoms for more than 24 hours, or ones that are severe, a vet visit is best.
