Is it normal for my dog to bleed for 24 hours during false pregnancy?

My dog is experiencing a false pregnancy. The vet said she would go through labor and there would be bloody discharge. It will be 24hrs since she started at 3am and she is still discharging a lot of bloody discharge. Is it normal for her to be bleeding this long? Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 60 lbs

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. It is definitely not normal for a dog to bleed for such a long time. Please, take Cammie back to your vet as potentially she may have poymetra or bleed from the uterus, which should be treated as an emergency.
