Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 1 year and 8 months old | 8.7 lbs
My cat gets a lot of eye boogers and often has fairly large globs of gunk floating around in his eyes. I've attached a photo of a relatively small glob in his right (your left) eye. He had pretty bad conjunctivitis as a kitten that got passed between him and my roommates cat for a couple of months, even though I was treating both with erythromycin. He's has these globs and eye boogers since then and I just want to know if there's anything I can do to make him more comfortable or mitigate them.

You could try an over the counter GenTeal eye drops to keep his eyes well lubricated. If the condition continues, he starts squinting, or his eyes look red then he needs to be examined by a vet to determine what treatment is needed.
