My Cavapoo leaks urine after peeing in heat, is it UTI or diapers?

Hello! My 12 months old Cavapoo has been leaking urine. It happens after she is supposedly done peeing and but then a trail of pee would follow her as she leaks. Today is the 3rd time it has happened in the last 1.5 weeks. She is currently entering the 3rd week of her heat and has been on pet diapers if that could be a reason. What could be the reason for the leaking of urine, is this a cause for concern and what can we do to help? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Female | unspayed | 8.8 lbs

She could have a urinary tract infection and need an antibiotic to treat. Schedule an appointment with your vet for a urinalysis to determine if there is an infection. When you schedule the appointment, ask if you should bring a sample or if they want to get in at the clinic.
