Can I give my dog Rimadyl after he had Claro for ear infection?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 13 years and 3 months old | 19 lbs

My dog was treated with Claro for ear infection. Is there any interaction with that and Rimadyl?

It's perfectly safe for Toby to receive Rimadyl after having Claro applied. The Claro has minimal systemic absorption and works only in the ear canal to treat the infection, so it does not interact with other medications. I hope that Toby's ear infection resolves quickly!
