Senior cat with FIV licked seasoning off of a handful of chips that were garlic flavored. Pet's info: Cat | American Longhair | Female | unspayed | 8 lbs

Hi and thanks for your request. It is unlikely that this minimal amount of garlic can result in side effects and intoxication. FIV positive status should not increase the chances of this intoxication. I would monitor signs such as lethargy, inappetence, fast breathing and pale mucous membranes/palate. If any a check up will be required.
