My dog ate a TV remote battery. What symptoms should I look for?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 1 month old | 46 lbs

Hello, my dog chewed our tv remote and so far i only saw one of the batteries. Im not sure if he swallowed the other. What symptoms should i look for to know if he swallowed one of the batteries?

Hi, it’s VERY important to have him checked over ASAP. An x ray can be takien which will reveal the presence of the battery in the stomach if ingested. If so further action such as emergency removal will be needed. If left in the stomach, batteries can lead to internal organ damage. I would bring along the other battery to your vet ( if same batteries were used ), as this will also provide useful information.
