There is likely not enough caffeine in the Mountain Dew to cause serious toxicity if that is your concern. You may see vomiting and/or diarrhea. This can usually be managed at home with a 24 hour fast followed by a bland diet fed in small, frequent amounts until symptoms resolve. Transition slowly to the regular diet afterwards. If it has been several hours and she is behaving normally, she will likely be fine. Monitor for lethargy, vomiting/diarrhea lasting more than 24 hours, loss of appetite, restlessness, tremors or seizures. These symptoms should be addressed by your veterinarian or at the nearest veterinary ER.

Yes, dogs are very sensitive to caffeine, so it can have toxic effects. However, this would likely not be enough to cause signs of toxicity. Below is a link to an article that explains the signs of caffeine toxicity. If you happen to notice him get hyper-excited, or start to have tremors, then it's best to take him to the vet as soon as possible. https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/caffeine-toxicity-in-pets I hope that helps and all is well with Daley.
