I've looked up jiaogulan, and while I can find information about in it humans, I cannot in dogs. That to me says that it's not safe for dogs unless there is further research done. At this point, I can't advise you on any potential risks or benefits. Due to this, I do not recommend it for Astro. I hope this helps.

Thanks for using Boop by Petco! There are no studies currently looking at the use of this concurrently with chemotherapy. For this reason, I do not recommend using this as we do not know if it could interact negatively with the chemotherapy. Is it OK to give your dog normal CBD oil and not the pet CBD oil if you make sure you give them the exact milligrams and dosing as what the pet stuff says?
Unfortuantely we could never recommend and say it is ok to give your pet human medication if it is not prescribed specifically for your pet. There is too much room for human error when trying to microdose human medication to pets. Also there may be contaminants or other ingredients there that are not suitable for dogs, so it is best to use caution and stick with the pet formulated one that has been tested in pets. Also we are not legally able to prescribe CBD oils to pets in most states, so experimenting with this lies entirely on the owner and your research. The law has made it clear to us that we just don't know enough about CBD oil to competently prescribe it and educate owners on its use. With that said, there are some pet owners that say it has helped their pets with arthritis and pain, while others say it hasn't helped at all. It is still considered a supplement and is anectdotal, which means that there isn't enough research to say that it is going to be helpful for most p

Does noni juice ( morinda citrifolia) has any toxicity or side effects on dogs liver or kidney if given regularly 15 ml twice a day?
Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your question. From my research, Noni appears to be safe but it is a natural supplement with not much research behind it. With that said, as with any natural supplement, I always caution against using these products. Basil isn't toxic to dogs, so it's fine to Pasha the cold basil water. She may not like the taste, however, and probably won't drink it. In addition, this will not help at all with her arthritis. Glucosamine is a good idea to give her, and you could talk to your vet about pain relief if she appears painful. I hope this helps!

can I use phytoplex on my dog
Hi there and thank you for using Boop by Petco to address your concern. This product is labelled for human use and has no information available for animals that I could find. I would say that most of the ingredients formulated in the phytoplex are safe for use in dogs, however, use with caution as there is no information on its safety in animals. There are safer options out there such as Vetericyn or hydrocortisone spray that I would recommend before using Phytoplex. I hope this helps!

Cernitin pollen extract is the extract of rye grass pollen. Rye grass decreases swelling (inflammation) by interfering with certain chemicals. It might also slow down prostate cancer cell growth. It is unlikely that there are detrimental side effects in dogs. Consumption of any plant material may cause vomiting and gastrointestinal upset for dogs, so this would be something that could happen.

They will also consult with your veterinarian if needed about treatments. Pet Poison Hotline +1-855-764-7661 There is a $59 fee but it is very worth it in almost all cases. As far as I can tell by looking at the ingredient list, the most likely adverse reaction is likely to be vomiting and diarrhea. If this becomes excessive or you see any other concerning signs (seizures, weakness, tremors, lethargy, mental dullness, other), it’s time to see the emergency vet right away. Supplements are usually unnecessary as long as you are feeding a formulated dog food. There are various supplements that have shown mixed results about preventing certain diseases and helping with treatment with certain diseases, but the scientific evidence is not enough (despite a great deal of research with some supplements) for me to recommend an owner to give supplements to a healthy dog. The CoQ10 is a more recently studied supplement that does show promise for certain conditions, but again, the evidence is lacking enough that I wouldn't recommend it be given regularly to prevent certain conditions. The CoQ10 supplements and other ones are usually rather safe though, so I can't say it will hurt to give them. I would recommend consulting with your vet before you do in case Gerald has any conditions that would contraindicate their use and so you can get a precise dose for Gerald.
