My cat ate a steri strip. Should I call the vet or will it pass?

My cat at a steri strip (use to close wounds, kind of like a bandaid). Should I take him to the vet immediately or will it pass? He isn't showing any sign of distress. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 11 months old | 15 lbs

Hi and thanks for your request. The best course of action would depend on the amount of steri strip ingested. If it is just a small amount this should get partially digested and then pass without any problem. Monitor any sign like vomiting, inappetence, diarrhoea and lethargy.
