Why does my dog have a red sore with hair loss under her nose?

I came home from work and noticed a red sore with hair loss under my labradoodles nose. She doesn’t seem to be licking it or bothered.

Poor pup. It looks like an abrasion from this photo, commonly seen when dogs rub their noses excessively. This can happen with digging or being crated. I would monitor it but it does not appear to need intervention at this time.
