Puppy slipped and limping but not in pain. Is it an emergency?

Hi, my 8 month old puppy just had a minor slip while playing few days ago. He slipped a bit and then he was playing fine. I see him limp more since yesterday evening even bough he is not in pain as he runs and plays with me. Should I take him on emergency or will he heal by himself? Pet's info: Dog | Shih Tzu | Male | neutered | 7 months and 23 days old | 12 lbs

My practical advice would be to rest him completely for the next 24 hours and if there is no improvement by then take him to your local veterinarian for a check up.
