Is it safe to kiss my cat if I have cavities? Will they get them?

Hi! I’m asking this for a friend of mine. Recently she found out that she has cavities and she got a bad habit of kissing her cat on the mouth so she’s wondering if it’s possible for the cavities to spread to her cat? (Photo attached is to show the colour of the teeth if needed)

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. No, we do not share with cats the same bacteria that produce carries. Also, cavities in cats are much less common than in human. Ballball will be fine even if he gets frequent kisses from the ower. He will not develop cavities because of that.
