My dog has a red bump after playing outside. What could this be?

Hello, my dog got this red bump yesterday afternoon after he was playing outside. Not sure if he was but or what it could be, he hasn’t complained and has been playing like normal. Just wanted an opinion. Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Male | unneutered | 9 months and 12 days old | 15 lbs

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I suspect this could be an abscess (after a bite from other animal?), bacterial skin infection or ringworm. A visit at your local vets is recommended to make the definite diagnosis (your vet may want to aspirate the lump with a needle to confirm the diagnosis) and to start treatment for Frank.
