My dog peed while dreaming intensely. Is this normal or concerning?

My dog has been known to have some intense dreams where he’ll move some and make noises. He started having one and I went to pet him and saw a small spot of what I think is urine. I’ve never noticed this happening before. Is this normal or is this something I need to be concerned about? Pet's info: Dog | Australian Shepherd | Male | neutered | 5 years old | 65 lbs

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Most likely Max passed a little bit of urine as he was very deep asleep and was dreaming intensively. If it happened only on one occasion, there is nothing to worry about. However, if it starts to happen on regular basis, a visit at your local and vets and urine sample analysis will be necessary.
