Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 65 lbs
My dog has tea colored urine. He was swimming in a coordinated pool for about 2 hours, and outside playing with the family from 10:30am- about 5pm (87 degree weather). He was urinating clear, then about 8pm noticed dark colored urine. He is eating normally, doesn’t seem thirsty, and normal behavior. Does this require a emergency vet visit?

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I suspect Fynn may have bladder infection. As long as he is acting normal and he does not have any problems with urination, it should be ok to wait until the morning to see your regular vet. Please, offer Fynn plenty of water to drink tonight. If you manage to catch a urine sample and take it with you to your vets in the morning, that will be of great diagnostic help.
