How do I know my dog's spay incision is healed to take the cone off?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | spayed | 4 years and 5 months old | 70 lbs

Hi I have a dog who had a spay done about 13 days ago I know the wound should be healed and I want to take the cone off but I don't know what healed looks like. (Here is a picture)

Hello there, Thanks for the great picture. Lucy's spay incision looks beautiful!! It looks like the skin has come together perfectly. There is a little bit of very superficial scabbing but that is absolutely normal. On day 13 with an incision like that, it's fine to remove her cone. Good work on keeping it on for her to heal so well. Have a wonderful day!
