I need help identifying the red inflammation around my dogs mouth. This was all of a sudden that she had this occur around her mouth. I thought she was bitten. She has been chewing quite a bit. I can’t find anything in her teeth.

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. It looks like local skin infection, it could have allergic trigger, but it is not always the case. Please, take Rona to your local vets for an appointment. She will likely need a course of antibiotics in form of tablets or ointment/cream.

It is very hard to tell from the picture and I recommend a vet visit as soon as possible as it looks like it may be raised and ulcerated which may be a tumour or very severe deep dermatitis requiring treatment
