My dog ate soda crackers. Is it dangerous if I don't know how many?

I was out of the room, and my dog ate some soda crackers. I don't know how many he ate. Is this dangerous?

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Soda crackers can cause stomach upset, usually vomiting and mild diarrhea. Ingesting large quantity of salt can be dangerous too. As long as Kapono is doing well and he is not showing any worrying symptoms, you should monitor him at home. However, if he develops vomiting, diarrhea, tremors or any other worrying symptoms you should get him checked by your local vets right away.
