My cat lost a tooth. How can I soften his dry kibble for him?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 6 years and 4 months old | 19 lbs

My cat lost his canine tooth and vet recommended he stay on wet food but he doesn't always want it but he can't eat his dry kibble yet, how can I soften it up for him so he doesn't have to chew

You can soften the dry food by soaking it lightly with just plain warm water or low sodium chicken broth. Don't completely soak it, just use enough liquid to lightly soften the kibble. If you make it too mushy he probably won't eat it. Hope this helps. Best wishes!
