Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 6 lbs
My cat's eyes have been on and off red like this for a few days. Me and my mom believe he has allergies but he doesn't have the discolored discharge I've seen on google, he only has clear discharge when wet but when it tries it becomes yellowish brown. He feels warmer than usual as well, but eating drinking and using the bathroom like normal. He is being extremely clingy to me and my mom and making us rub his face which is his way of telling us he is not feeling good.

Hi, and thanks for your question. That is likely to be due to a mild to moderate conjunctivitis, probably secondary to a trauma or infection. A check up would be needed as appropriate treatment would include antibiotics and anti-inflammatory eye drops. Corneal injuries must be ruled out as well.
