My dog ingested too many Simparica tablets. Is it an emergency?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male

Hi I have my dog a dose of simparica. He's about 30kg and the dude is 80mg. I can't find the packet and an panicking as he may have ingested 4 more tablets. What should I do?

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. If Henk ingested the tablets in the last 1-2hrs, you should take him to your local vets right away to induce vomiting. If it was longer than 2hrs, making him vomit would not be recommended. If that is the case, you should monitor Henk at home for symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea, lack of appetite, tremors, problems with balance. If you notice any of these symptoms, you will have to get him to your local vets as soon as possible.
