What's a red, crusty spot with chunky dandruff on my dog's neck?

My dog has a red and crusty spot. It has big and chunky white dandruff on it as well. What could this possibly be? It’s around his neck. Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 28 days old | 54 lbs

It looks he has a dermatitis which could be secondary to a bacterial or fungal infection. You could clean the area with a wound wash and see if it resolves. If not and/or he has multiple lesions, he should be examined by a vet for treatment.
