My pug has an eyelid bump that changed color. Should I see a vet?

My pug has a bump on her eyelid - yesterday it was more white and looked pus-filled, but today it looks more red. I am trying to determine if she should see the vet or if I should just monitor it to see if it grows. It doesn’t seem to be bothering her. thank you! Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | spayed | 23 lbs

Hello and thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. It looks like local skin infection. It is very close to the eye and there is a risk that Milly may injure the eye while trying to rub or scratch it once it gets bigger. Therefore, I would suggest to get her checked by your local vets. Milly will likely be prescribed an antiseptic skin ointment / cream and the bump will hopefully go away in the next few days.
