What does normal gum healing look like after dog dental surgery?

Hi. My dog just got dental surgery and I wanted to know if his front gums looks to be healing ok. Thank you very much.

Hi! Yes, I think Reggie's gums look like they're healing beautifully. It's normal for the gums to be a bit more red in the week following extractions. Continue to monitor his appetite to be sure that Reggie is eating normally. Excess drooling, pawing of the mouth, difficulty chewing, or bleeding/discharge from the extraction sites are all cause for concern. Otherwise, it looks like he's in good shape!
